setral® was founded in Strasbourg (France) in 1969 by Jean-Léon Spehner, Jean-Pierre Lepré, and Guy Grospêtre.
In 1985, Karl-Heinz Hensel took over the company and initiated a dynamic phase of growth by introducing new production technologies and continuously developing the product portfolio.
In the years that followed, production and storage capacities were expanded, while research activities were significantly intensified in the 1990s. New production facilities and technologies have characterized the company's steady growth ever since. In recent years, the worldwide sales network has been expanded to ensure global availability.
setral® develops, produces, and distributes setral® high-performance and specialty lubricants as well as chemical-technical maintenance products for industrial applications worldwide.
The focus is always on quality, innovation, and customer proximity. Through continuous investment in research, technology, and sustainability, setral® has grown to become an internationally recognized industrial partner.
