Describes phase transitions and heat flow with and without weight transfer
- TGA = thermogravimetric analysis
- For Oils, greases, pastes, boned coatings etc.
- Constant heating up of the lubricant until thermal decomposition (RT to +1600°C)
- Output: Weight loss as a function of temperature
